NFL Fans Respond To Jerry Jones Appearing To Have A Look At The Cowboys Sideline To See Who Was Kneeling During The Anthem

Before the Cowboys game against the Rams on Sunday night football, defensive lineman Dontari Poe took a knee during the anthem on the Dallas sideline as several of his teammates and coaches put hands on his shoulder in support.

In doing so, Poe became the first Cowboys player to kneel during the anthem.

Cowboys NT Dontari Poe was team’s only player to kneel during national anthem. He is the first Cowboys player to ever do so. Reserve NT Antwaun Woods stood behind him, placing hand on Poe’s left shoulder. The two slapped hands and hugged when song concluded. pic.twitter.com/uh0yXBic9a

As Poe knelt during the anthem, NBC’s camera panned toward team owner Jerry Jones who appeared to be trying to get a closer look at the Cowboys sideline to see who was kneeling.
