The Strenuous life is an online/offline community that allows members to learn new skills, explore new interests and improve their body, mind and spirit. Members create and publish The Bugle, a monthly newsletter to showcase what's happening in the TSL Community.

Badge Work
What badge requirements are you working on? You can see how some of your fellow members have been getting things done recently.
@marcusraider uses a telescope, binoculars and a book to identify stars over the course of the year for the Astronomer Badge. @maverick man smoked a beef brisket to earn the Backyard Cook Badge. @Fahey learned how to string his bow in a lesson for an Archery Badge. @prometheus harvests a cup of Mulberries from his tree every day to fulfill the Backyard Farmers Badge requirement. As part of the Art Badge requirement, @russjack created several paintings over the seasons of his backyard.
@boots1164 has read The Daily Stoic every day for 30 days to earn the Monk Badge. @flurry showed how to hold a pen correctly for lefties for the Penmanship Badge. @jameshxn has read Edmund Morris' trilogy on Theodore Roosevelt by Edmund Morris for the Rough Rider Badge. @mrmeyers99 cleared all his debts except for his home for the Personal Finance Badge.
@roseman76 earned the Handyman Badge by replacing some damaged slats on his fence. @ChrisZelihsen enjoyed checking off the Host Badge requirements as he hosted friends in his home for a "beer tasting" where they played a game of quizzes while sampling craft beers. @timmydee received a free copy of his annual credit report for the InfoSec badge. @repetition8932 prepared sushi for him and his wife to earn the Kiss the Chef Badge. Last but not least, @russjak completed all the required letters for the Letter Writing Badge.
