Podcast #893: Optimize Your Testosterone

Note: This is an old broadcast.

Men tend to focus on testosterone when they think of optimizing their hormones. While increasing T is important, a healthy profile includes having a balance of testosterone with other hormones.

Dr. Kyle Gillett will be joining me on today's show to discuss these two aspects of hormone optimization. Let's start by giving a brief overview of how hormones affect male health. Then we will discuss what constitutes low testosterone, and how you can accurately test for it. We discuss the causes of low testosterone and its decrease in the male population. We discuss in the second part of our conversation how to raise testosterone as well as get rid of excess estradiol, using some supplements that you may not have heard about. Then we discuss the benefits and risks of TRT before concluding our conversation with some tips for young men to ensure a lifetime of hormonal and T health.

Dr. Kyle Gillette: Thank you. It's my pleasure.

This is helping people to live a healthy life by ensuring they have good hormones. Today I want to talk about male hormones.
