Skill of the Week: James Bond’s Tactics for Figuring Out If Someone’s Been Snooping in Your Room

James Bond stayed at some swanky, luxurious hotels while on assignments around the globe. While 007 enjoyed his stays in these hotels, he could not afford to relax or let down his guard. Bond was constantly at risk of being ambushed and counter-spied upon while on the job. When he left his room, 007 always left "minute alarms" to detect his adversaries and let him know that they had searched his belongings. You can use a thin thread, lint, or hair from the agent's head to leave traces of disturbance.
