The Quiet Man Watching John Ford's The Quiet Man is one of my St. Patrick's Day tradition. John Wayne is an American boxer returning to his Irish village. He falls in love his beautiful, fiery neighbor Maureen O'Hara. Barry Fitzgerald delivers a slew of hilarious one-liners in this old-school romcom. ("Homeric!" The film also features one of the longest fight scenes ever seen in cinema. It's best to watch while enjoying corned-beef hash.

Golden Era Bodybuilding Tank Tops. In the past, I never wore tank tops during my workouts. But now that I am in the 1970s bodybuilding age, I thought I would give them a try. Now I appreciate tank tops. While doing cable machine flys, it feels great to have your arms out in the air. Golden Era Athletics had some great old-school tanks that I liked. It looks great with tube socks and shorty shorts.
Essays by Montaigne. Montaigne, a 16th-century writer and philosopher, retired from the public service at his late 30s. He spent the rest his life in his castle library and study, writing about everything: education, virtue, good fortune, friendship, sleeping, sex and even farting. He was the first blogger. The collection Essays contains all of his writing. The book is open at any page and you can find interesting material to read.
