Building on my previous reviews of the MoonSwatch watch series—Mission On Earth, Mission to Saturn, and Mission to Pluto—I now turn my attention to the popular Mission To The Moon watch.
While the other MoonSwatch models stand out for their colorful design, this Mission To The Moon has often been preferred because, given its steel-toned case and black face, it offers an aesthetic most like the original Omega Moonwatch.
As a seasoned watch collector, I’ve owned and reviewed many Omega watch models here on Bespoke Unit. Among these are a Seamaster Spectre that I still wear regularly and a Speedmaster 1957 (“Speedy 57”) that I wear less often.
Despite this, I’d never truly felt the allure of the Moonwatch. However, this changed when the MoonSwatch collection was released.
I knew I wanted a couple of these watches, and more specifically, I wanted this Mission To The Moon, as it would give me the closest experience to the real MoonWatch without shelling out thousands of dollars.
